Possible Afterlife

We believe humans have an essence that some call the 'soul’ or our ‘spirit’. This is a part of us that lives in our bodies here on planet Earth. Our essence will never die; rather it will depart from our physical body when it dies.

We believe that at some point in the future, this element of who we are will be ‘rehoused’ in a new body which is designed for the next age. In other words, we will be brought into a new life in a new body, and this will be in a new phase (age).

These new bodies will be similar to our current bodies, but there will be fewer desires built into their biology. For example, the desire to procreate will not be present.

Once we are in our new bodies, we will be guided into circumstances that are designed to encourage us to mature in learning how to love ourselves and others with unfailing love. The kind of experiences we will have will depend on what we did in this life. Each of us will have things that need to be learned and unlearned. The process will be different for everyone.

Every human being will experience a process of reconciliation, unto themselves, other people and to creation. We believe there are consequences to what we have done in this life. The unfailing love from which we were created will help us and guide us into increasing maturity in that same love, but we must agree to this. We will not be coerced, forced or threatened.

So, we believe that after we die, we will all continue into a new life and a new phase of existence. This will be for our own good and the eventual benefit of all people. The fictional story set out in our book Hope for Everyone describes our vision of this afterlife in much greater detail.
